That's great! cheap is fine, it shoots as well as the expensive ones, especially when you're first learning ;)

You might find 3 Rivers Archery a fun site to check out for gear and gear ideas. Even if you can't afford anything it's nice to get an idea of what's out there and that site has a lot of stuff for traditional archery/SCA stuff. :)
